Marczyk’s “Counting Sheep” simulates Ukraine’s Maidan Revolution in Toronto

Lemon Bucket Orkestra’s stirring folk opera “Counting Sheep”, based on Mark and Marichka Marczyk’s personal experiences in Kyiv, recreates Ukraine’s Maidan revolution in Toronto’s Great Hall this week at Queen and Dovercourt as part of the Summerworks festival of performing arts. It’s a must see for anyone who wants to learn more about Ukrainian food, music and spirituality, or experience the camaraderie, chaos and chilling tragedy of a protest movement against a violent dictatorship and it’s warmongering backers.
